THE SECRETS OF ECODORA DIAPHRAGM PUMPS
How do diaphragm pumps work?
Why choose a diaphragm pump?
Two questions to which we finally want to give a clear answer to everyone.

How do diaphragm pumps work?
The operation of a double membrane pump or diaphragm pump (as it is also called) is both simple and effective: are pneumatic pumps for fluid transfer with reciprocating motion. They have two opposing, hermetically divided pumping chambers: one in contact with the compressed air, and the other in contact with the pumped fluid. The membranes, placed between the two pumping chambers and activated by the pneumatic motor, and the valves, designed to guarantee the total passage of the fluid both inlet and outlet, are the only parts in contact with the fluid.

Why choose a diaphragm pump?
Diaphragm pumps are designed and manufactured for pumping a wide range of fluids even with high viscosities and with suspended solids. In being ATEX certified, they can also be used for heavy applications such as in places with high humidity or with potentially explosive atmosphere.
Unlike other types of pumps, the diaphragm pump for liquids has no limits to its use, also adapting to dry running, to mix fluids, self-priming and submerged.
